Pendula (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is the developer and operator of the Pendula mood tracking application (“the App”), available on iOS and Android. If you have questions about this policy or your data, contact us at:

Pendula is an entirely offline application. All of your mood data lives on your device and never leaves it. We do not operate servers that receive, store, or process your mood entries, notes, or any personal information.
We believe your emotional data is deeply personal and should remain under your control — always. To that end, we make this commitment:
There will always be a fully functional offline mode in Pendula. If we introduce optional account-based features in the future (such as cloud backup or multi-device sync), the offline, no-account-required experience will remain. Creating an account will always be your choice, never a requirement.
All mood entries, notes, achievements, settings, and any other data you create within the App are stored locally on your device using the standard device storage mechanisms provided by iOS and Android (AsyncStorage, SecureStore for sensitive preferences, and the app’s local file storage).
All of this data is accessible and manageable by you through your device’s standard app management controls. Deleting the App from your device permanently removes all of this data.
The App includes an optional CSV export feature that lets you save your mood data to a file on your device. This file is created and stored entirely on-device — we never receive a copy.
We do not collect, receive, or have access to any of your personal data. Specifically:
The App functions entirely without an internet connection. It does not make network requests on your behalf.
The current version of the App does not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs that collect or transmit data. There are no advertising networks, analytics providers, or cloud storage services embedded in the App.

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. Because the App does not collect any personal information, there is no risk of us knowingly or unknowingly collecting data from children.

Because Pendula does not collect, receive, or share any personal information, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) requirements regarding data access, deletion, and sale do not apply to our current operations.
To be clear: we do not sell personal information to any third party, ever. We have no personal information to sell.
Because Pendula does not collect or process any personal data, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements regarding data processing, consent, and data subject rights do not apply to our current operations.
If we introduce optional account-based features in the future, we will update this policy to describe our processing activities, legal basis, and your rights under GDPR before any such features launch.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — particularly if we introduce optional account-based features. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will notify you via a prominent notice in the App.
